I have been working on a big painting lately, and will post it really soon, but until then, I thought I would post this little craft! I made this little rose for a friend. I think it is a sweet little home-made project. Here is how you do it, if you want to make it.
1. Cut out a circle of felt
2. Cut a spiral line in the felt (so it kind of looks like a slinky!)
3. From the outside to inside, roll the felt up (like a cinnamon roll)
4. Once completely rolled up, sew the bottom of the felt rose, so it doesn't unravel
5. Go on a hike and find a nice stick to use as a stem for the rose.
6. Maneuver the stick so it stays inside the rose.
